Canoe or Kayak to Warwick Castle

Paddle from Leam Boat Centre to Warwick Castle (approx 3 miles), learning paddle skills along the way, and perhaps playing some games or challenges too. There's also the option to paddle the small weir for the more adventurous in the team! At the end of the trip you are rewarded with fantastic views of the mediaeval castle from the river, before leaving the river at St Nicholas Park. The trip takes approximately 3 hours.

When can you book

We are open year round for bookings, although most of our activities take place between March and October. During the main season (Easter to October) we are open 7 days a week, and when daylight allows we take evening bookings.

Number of participants

Maximum number: 16 in kayak, 16 in canoe.
A minimum fee applies equivalent to 6 people.
Above price is per person.

Booking

Initially, phone or e-mail to arrange your date and time and check availability. We can make a provisional booking and reserve your slot in the diary.

To confirm your booking, we require a deposit of approximately 50% of the expected total (if the start date is more than 2 weeks ahead) or full payment if within 2 weeks of the start.

Final confirmation of numbers and full payment is required at least a week in advance of the session. This allows us to make sure we have the correct number of staff in place for your session.

We can accept payment either by cash, card, online or bank transfer. For companies an official purchase order is also acceptable to confirm your booking.

Please note we are unable to accept individual payments from course participants on our discounted adult group prices.

Upon confirmation of your booking, we will e-mail the group leader some information for participants about what to wear and bring, and a consent form. It is the responsibility of the group leader to disseminate this information as needed, and to bring completed consent forms for each participant to the session.
