Evening Events FAQs
What if it rains?
We have 1 large marquee that covers the bbq area. We can hire for an
additional £30 a super large white marquee that covers the entire middle
boat ramp, providing dry seating for an additional 20 to 30 people.
Do you have toilets/changing facilites?
Yes we have toilets with wheelchair access & male & female shower
/changing rooms.
Can we have live/loud music?
Yes though volume is at our discretion as we have neighbours to consider. Any loud music must finish by 11pm.
If I go boating will I get my new dress wet?
No. You can use the row boats, motor boats, pedalos etc without getting a drop of water on you. If you want to try a kayak you just get water dripping on you from your paddle.
Can children go on boats on their own?
Yes – in the boating lake (2 ½ ft deep) & supervised by us. On the river under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult (over 16) though not necessarily in the same boat. Children under 14 & non or weak swimmers must wear buoyancy aids (provided) at all times on the water.
If I am drunk silly can I still go on the boats?
NO. And we have the final say in the matter.
